Here are some assignments you could think of trying out, and submitting to TELCA if you wish. But don't forget:

• Work in Word first.

Assignment Titles

Easier:

• My favourite animal
• My most interesting experience with an animal
• An animal story

Intermediate

• Choose an animal that you think needs to be protected and then write a letter to or article for a newspaper explaining why the animal should be protected, and trying to encourage people to make donations.

More Advanced (IELTS type)

• Some people think that it is cruel to keep animals in zoos and that all zoos should be closed down and the animals returned to the wild. To what extent would you agree or disagree with this opinion?
